Having problems

If you are connected to the
internet but cannot get to a particular web site, most likely the problem is with that
site (e.g. it may be offline for maintenance or a server crash). You should check
back periodically to see when the site is restored. If however, you are having
problems getting to ANY site, then you should check the following:
Resolve
an Intermittent Site Problem
To help determine and/or resolve intermittent site problem issues, please follow the steps
below:
- Were you able to connect
previously with the same access number?
- If YES, continue to the next
step.
- If NO, go to step 3.
- Have you installed or
changed anything on your computer since your last successful connection?
- If YES, re-try the
connection. If you are still unable to connect, there may be a problem or conflict
produced by the new product. Please contact the technical support provided for the product
you recently installed.
- If NO, continue to the next
step.
- What number are you
dialing?
- Check the access number to
determine that it is correct. To verify your access number, go to Get Your Numbers.
- If the number you dialed is
correct, you should contact your ISP's technical suuport and alert them of your connection
problem.
- You can assist your ISP in
quickly resolving this issue by running a Ping Test and providing
the results to your ISP when you report the problem.
